In pasta factories there is always a percentage of pasta scraps, a part comes from long pasta cuts, in other cases from products with an imperfect shape.
The need to reduce waste leads to grinding them in order to be able to reuse them.
It is important to obtain a product completely similar to the original semolina and with little presence of fine fraction, in order not to compromise the quality of the pasta produced.
For this reason, in our plant we check the maximum grain size of the product, its grain size curve, the presence of few fine parts, and the plant is designed not to heat the product during the grinding phase.
